Our mission is to make Jesus known to everyone through extending the presence, purpose and power of Jesus on earth.
OUR ELDERS

John McDougal
I was raised in the church and have been a Christian since 1967.
I struggled as a young man but when I met Shirley I saw the beauty of Christianity displayed by her. This helped me to be dedicated to the Lord. And I have strived to be what God wants me to be.

Married to Shirley for 53 years in August. We have two sons: John Jr. and Philip Jason.

We have a grandson John III and a granddaughter Kira. We have a great granddaughter and a great grandson on the way. There also two additional girls we claim as great granddaughters.

I worked for the Peterbilt truck plant for 35 years and Metro Nashville Public schools as a bus driver for 9 years.

I pray that the Church here in White House will grow closer to the Lord and be a light for Him to everyone they come in contact with. And we, as members of his body, are drawn closer to each other in order to please the Lord.

Bud Pardue
I was born and raised most of my younger life in East Nashville until my dad was transferred to Newport News, Virginia. My goal in life at a young age was to work for National Linen Service, the same company that employed my dad.
The day after I graduated, I took a train to Pensacola, Florida to start my Linen career on the following Monday. I ended up working in the textile rental industry for nearly 40 years of which nearly 23 years I traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada.
There was a young man that worked at the plant in Pensacola that was about my age, and I guess he felt
sorry for me. One afternoon, he invited me to go home and meet his family. He had a rather large
family with 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Many of them were married and no longer lived at home. He had one sister that I met that day named Christine. She was still in high school but I guess it was love at first sight.
We married in 1962 and were blessed with 4 children, one of which is deceased. We now have 2 granddaughters, 6 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren.
I been a Christian for nearly 50 years. I have served as a Deacon in the Lord’s Church in Hialeah, FL and Goodlettsville, TN. I have served at this congregation as an Elder from 2000 to 2005 and from 2012 to 2021. This will be my third honor to serve the Lord’s church as an Elder.
My prayer and goal for our church is to truly love one another as Jesus loved the church. Remember he gave his life for each of us.
