Class Notes

Christian Zionism =  The Jews’ return to the land  is fulfillment of Biblical prophesy and a prerequisite  for the Second coming of Christ.

  1. Founding of the state of Israel in 1948 key to “end times”  and Christ’s return.

  2. Jewish sovereignty in the land is divinely ordained.

  3. Jesus will reign from Jerusalem on David’s throne.

  4. To support Israel is divine blessing, failing to do so is  divine judgment.

Jeff’s thoughts:

  1. Israel today is a “civil” state, not to be compared to the Theocracy they were when formed by God to bring us the  Messiah.

  2. Romans 9, 10, & 11 will answer questions about God’s  purpose, use, and the historical place of Israel in  Christianity.
